ABOUT
This apartment building is located in the Old West Side neighborhood across from Vandercook Park. Built in 1927 by Henry Black to serve early Long-Bell executives, the building originally featured a subterranian dance hall that provided Longview's first dance club, a retreat during the prohibition years.
The building is near Lower Columbia College, the Public Library, Post Office, Hospital, Safeway, WinCo, Triangle Shopping Center, and historic downtown Longview.
There are 27 apartments: 5 two-bedroom units, 12 one-bedrooom units, and 10 studio units configured in 7 different floor plans ranging from 288 sq ft to 1188 sq ft, all with one or more large closets. Larger units feature formal dining rooms and spacious living rooms.
Parking and storage is available in one of 10 separately-rented garages or in the street. Storage closets and laundry room are in the basement. Non-smoking.
